Paxil Motion for Summary Judgment Denied

Lawsuits regarding birth defects as a result of taking the drug Paxil during pregnancy continue to progress.

The Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas Civil Trial Division rejected a Motion for Summary Judgment last week. On April 24^th, the Court denied the motion and stated “there are too numerous disputed issues of material fact for Defendants to prevail at this stage of the litigation.”
